Personal training sessions

Golf professionals in the modern game need to be exceptional athletes and increasingly our clients are realising that fitness is a very important part of playing good golf.

The golf swing requires a large range of movement, with significant rotation and explosive acceleration. Training and preparing your body for those movements is the focus of our programmes at Precision Fitness.

Our training studio

Strength, balance and flexibility are the focus areas that will help golfers hit the ball as far and as straight as possible. Fitness programmes encompassing all these areas prepare your body to make the movements demanded of it consistently and explosively, but also with efficiency and control to prevent injury.

Our lead trainer, Kate, is an elite athlete who understands the golf swing and the physical demands of the game. Kate’s focus is always on the individual, planning and delivering varied fitness sessions and exercises that build strength and power, whilst also benefitting the player’s technique. This can also be tailored to complement any ongoing coaching.

Reaching your goals

Our 1-2-1 personal training sessions are suitable for everyone and oriented towards core and strength training. This improves on-course performance, protects against injury, and aids general fitness and well-being.

Our fully equipped training studio offers a full range of equipment including kettlebells, weighted sled, battle ropes, ski & row Ergs, Assault Runner and the Echo Bike.

Sessions are varied, balancing exercise and nutrition advice to educate and inspire you to become the fittest and healthiest version of yourself, and play your best golf yet.

Ignite your fitness. Book a 1-hour consultation with Kate to create a personalised training regime. During the consultation Kate will carry out a TPI Screening, discuss your fitness goals and nutrition to develop your personalised training programme.

Kate Davey

Kate has been passionate about sport, nutrition and training from an early age and has competed in multiple triathlons, including Ironman Lanzarote considered the toughest of its kind.

In 2022 Kate discovered HYROX – A fast growing World Series of Fitness Racing. In her first 2 seasons of competing as a sponsored Elite Athlete, Kate has achieved World ELITE 15 status and now sits firmly within the top 5 athletes in the World. Kate is recorded as the 5th fastest Woman in HYROX history.

Kate also holds multiple HYROX records and titles which include;

22’/23′ Age Group Women’s Pro World Champion
